Geum quellyon 'Mrs. Bradshaw'
Rhizomatous, occassionally stoloniferous perennials from mountainous habitats, streamsides, moist meadows, and woodlands. Pinnate, hairy leaves, 6-8 inches long, with kidney-shaped terminal leaflets, the remainder ovate. Semi-double scarlet flowers, 1 3/4 inches across, are borne in cymes of 1-5 from early to late summer.
Rear; Red Bed 2002 Moved 31 May 2004 to front.

CULTIVATION: Grow in fertile, well drained soil in full sun. Avoid soil that is water logged in winter.
PROPAGATION: Sow seed incontainers in a cold frame, or divide, in autumn or spring. G. 'Mrs. Bradshaw' comes virtually true from seed.
PESTS AND DISEASES: Prone to downy mildew, fungal leaf spots, powdery mildew, and leaf smut. Various caterpillars may be troublesome.
